* Pratone Chair
Posted on October 21st, 2008 by alessio. Filed under Product design.

Pratone (that in italian means “Big lawn”) was designed in 1966 by Gruppo Strum (abbreviation for “architettura strumentale”, instrumental architecture).
Their main concept was partecipating to the social and radical protests of those years through architectural and design projects.
Pratone is a clear example of “satire” applied to industrial design.
In expanded polyurethane ‘foam’ painted with Guflac (waterproof paint). W:140 x D:140 x H:95 cm.
